Saturday-learning about your celebrations
Also on Saturday, we'll be celebrating Kevin's (my hubby) birthday (even though it's really Sunday). He told me this year he wants a chocolate chocolate cake...I went to the store yesterday on the way home from jury duty (which finally ended) and picked up the ingredients to make the cake. I plan on making the double layer cake with chocolate frosting in the middle and outside. I am going to bake in the morning, and frost and decorate by afternoon. Natalie insists on helping so we'll dawn our aprons and get to baking...bake a cake!
I will add pictures as we go-a rolling slice and celebration...so check back for more sometime soon!
Happy Birthday to Kevin! The chocolate chocolate cake sounds yummy. Have a fabulous weekend baking and celebrating!

ReplyDeleteUgh! I am hoping you aren't called either! It was an ugly case.
DeleteSome of my best childhood memories revolve around baking with my mother. I think those "small moments" are some of the best to choose to write about. Thanks for sharing your "celebrations"!
