a blog-over

I decided after looking at all of the beautiful blogs from the slice of life challenge, my "blog" needs a "blog-over". My blog looks hideous-it makes me feel like I have no clue what I am doing...help! What should I do first? Oh, who would even be reading this...oh well
Somewhere out there, maybe someone can help me...
