Thank you to the Two Writing Teachers
for hosting the 9th Annual SOLSC
I adore children's artwork. I love seeing how kids express their ideas and arrange the images on paper without the fear of "I can't draw!" They just go for it!
Natalie brought home her latest family portrait all ready to share. However, she felt upset. When we asked her why she was upset, she told us that someone cut daddy's legs off. We looked closely and indeed someone had accidentally cut the legs off of dad. Luckily, she still had the cut off piece! Enter "Super Tape" to the rescue {trumpets blare}.
Super Tape rescued the family portrait and made it whole once more.
"Oh, thank you, Super Tape for mending the cut legs. You're our hero of the day!"
"I live for the cutting edge! I'm Suuuuupppper Taaaaape!"
This reminds me of the fall when my Young Kindergartners can't cut well. In the first months my tape is always in high demand. Funny, I'd forgotten how improved our skills are.
ReplyDeleteHow funny!! Super tape...the mender of all things!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that super tape was there to save the day! Your post brings back memories of when my kiddos were little.
