Does this look like the face of guilt or the face of innocence? Vote in the comments below!

I'm asking because this is the culprit who's charged with destroying our internet services for almost a week.  He climbed into the box out at the pole and chewed through our cable line, exposing it to the elements and eventually shorting out our line.  Our cable connection is finally fixed and our new modem is up and running.  I hope the little cousin learned his lesson and never plays with our cable line again.  Don't get me wrong, I like squirrels but I don't like when they mess with my hobbies and my work because of their chewing habits.

Have you ever had squirrel trouble?

  1. I'm guessing guilty. We had one decide to explore a transformer. The entire subdivision was not happy when power was lost for four hours!

  2. Well, initially I thought he looked kinda cute, but I see now that he's a mischievous little bugger!

Hope he doesn't try that again!

  3. Even though he is pretending to be innocent, I believe he is guilty...I can see it in his eyes!!

  4. Since I am on call for federal jury duty this month, I say guilty as charged! How frustrating for you.

  5. Guilty for sure. I had a dog that chewed through my stereo cords once. Animals! They look so cute, but can make things so complicated.

  6. Guilty! I've never had squirrel problems. I hear they can be real trouble makers. My sister had a problem with one that managed to get into her attic. Yikes!

  7. Innocently guilty :) Sure I think he committed the crime but I am not sure you can convict on intent. (Really life does prove fact is stranger than fiction! I am glad everything is up and running once more. Clever slice!)

  8. Guilty. Several times in our communities squirrels have chewed. The results power stations have "exploded", knocking out electricity for quite an area. It wasn't a good day for the squirrel either.
