Thank you to the Two Writing Teachers Authors for hosting
As the whole family is now home on a much needed two week break for the holidays, music has been a source of joy! The "music man" of the house, aka Kevin, has created a Christmas playlist of favorite holiday music that's been playing quite regularly since we started our vacation. I did a little survey of everyone's favorites and here are the results:
Kevin-Merry Christmas Darling, by the Carpenters
Kameron-Frosty the Snowman, by Jimmy Durante (by the way, Kam imitates the voice completely when he's singing the tune)
Nattie--Pete the Cat Saves Christmas, by Eric Litwin
Me-The Gift, by Jim Brinkman
I then decided to take it a little further and create some poetry from the Christmas playlist. So, I'm sharing my attempt at playlist poetry. If you have a spotify account, they do this for you. I don't have one, so I'll be shuffling the titles and words on my own...
Walking in a winter wonderland!
Let it snow...
Christmas time is here!
Breath of Heaven...
Child's prayer...
Christmas is coming!
All we need is love!
Oh, come all ye faithful!
Who comes this night?
It's the most wonderful time of the year!
Merry Christmas Darling!
Silent night...
One gift...
Peace on Earth...
Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas!
