Jingle! Jingle! Jingle!

Tuesday's Slice...I can't keep up with you!  I am trying though-

The magical little elf, "Jingle", has reappeared for the yearly round of watching, merry-making, and note writing!

Our little elf came back on Saturday night.  He left a special gift for Kameron, a Lego Advent Calendar!  Oh, what fun!  This has sparked a note writing frenzy and a little disappointment that momma fell asleep already and forgot to move Jingle!  Duh?

Ok, so we're off and running with the letter writing back and forth-K-man is still into the make believe stuff-Joy of Joys!  So I've been having fun with that...

Kam left jingle some candy on the chair along with this note tonight-consequently, the candy made Jingle hyper and he got a little crazy with Kameron's legos!

If you don't have an elf on the shelf, I highly recommend getting one-oh, and remember not to fall asleep when you get it started...

Jingle all the way!

  1. Some students at school introduced me to Jingle last year...I could not believe I knew nothing about him! It sounded like a very fun thing to do with children and I can see your son is enjoying it as well....I love his note!

  2. We have also been having fun with our Elf, Charlie. So far, he has drawn silly faces on the kid's school pictures hanging on the wall, he's set up camp and gone gold-fishing in the kitchen sink, and make a snow angel in a pile of sprinkles. Crazy Elves!

    1. Oh, I love the idea of snow angel making in the sprinkles! That's good!

  3. Elves are also known for making secret houses in a shoebox, "borrowing" stuff from around the house...like the Borrowers. Just don't let them know you found it, or they'll move somewhere else.

    1. Yes, I am getting there-it's really hard when you're busy...

  5. I have a fifth grader who is a total believer. She told us today her elf just appeared when she was making her cereal. I am also following a mom on Facebook who posts pictures of all the mischief. Fun. My 20 somethings may not buy the whole idea, though.

  6. We just started a new tradition at our house: Elf on the Shelf. It reminds me of your Jingle and we are having fun with it too!

  7. I have thought about doing this, the sleeping thing could be a huge problem though! Neat that you are able to share notes back and forth.

    1. Yes, and I didn't know he'd written back to Jingle and missed the note-feeling like a heel...

  8. This was our very first year starting elf on the shelf. However, your little elf, Jingle, is too cute! I love that you are writing back and forth -- I'll have to remember this in a couple years with my girls!
