The story of pencils...Tuesday's Slice of Life
Once upon a time there was a very happy go lucky teacher who loved working with students...but day after hard-working day, something bad kept happening to the class' pencils! The children didn't know what was happening to their pencils. The teacher and the children tried hard to understand what was going on to make all of their pencil points break!
Shockingly, after the 30th day of school they received mysterious notes for three days in a row...hmmm. Maybe they would now know what was happening to the pencils! Day after day, the children kept sharpening the pencils, and day after day the points continued to break off of them!
On day 33, all of the children learned what was happening with their pencils! Not only did a wicked witch cast a spell on their sharpener, but she also made the pencil erasers taste like cotton candy so the children would try to eat them! And she made the pencil wood popcorn flavored so the children would try to bite them too!
It was a sad day when the children learned of the wicked witch's evil plot to make their pencils malfunction. They are still trying to figure out how to undo the evil spells!

The wicked witch must have visited my classroom too. We have not figured out how to break the evil spell yet.
