Sing because you're happy...

This story is a must be blogged story...

It makes me so happy! :)

Like Dr. Jean Feldman says, "People sing because they are happy, and they are happy because they sing!"

So I re-worded Twinkle Twinkle to show how Natalie approached the song and moved about to her words as she "sang"...I witnessed her singing!...I could tell by the tune that it was Twinkle Twinkle even though the words were coming out garbled. That's ok...soon enough they will come...she cheered and clapped for herself when she finished. And so, I dedicate this poem to her...

To My Little Twinkler!

Tippy toe the kitchen bright,

turning around left then right!

Dancing to your little tune,

words all garbled coming soon...

Twinkle Twinkle little star,

how I wonder what you are!

Hands raised high up to the sky...

Up above the world so high,

like a diamond in the sky,

fingers twinkle showing why!

Twinkle, twinkle, my little star,

Keep your song in your heart,

and you'll go far!

  1. That's so sweet! I love to hear my girls just singing . . . some words are clear and other just garbled! It's such a precious age -- enjoy the song!

  2. Michelle,
How do the girls respond to each other when one is singing and the other isn't? Or do they both sing at together?
