Snow-made Ornaments

The United Way Campaign is under way in our school district.  The latest fun way to raise funds is the "Pin it Your Way" Activity.  We are encouraged to find an ornament idea that would be on Pinterest, print the directions, and create the ornaments to sell.

Being the crafty person that I am, I decided to share the ornaments I've painted for the project...
Here are the directions, in case you'd like to make them too.

Step 1.  Shop at Pat Catan's or other favorite hobby store and purchase frosted glass bulbs.
Step 2.  Paint the bottom of the bulb with white paint, creating a snow-scape.
Step 3.  Use 3 different sized round sponge tipped stamps to create the snowman.
Step 4.  After it dries, use your favorite color and add the scarf.
Step 5.  Use brown paint and add sticks for the arms.
Step 6.  Add some dabs of black to create the coal for the buttons and the eyes.
Step 7.  Include a swipe of orange for the carrot nose.
Step 8.  Tie some beautifully trimmed ribbon for a final touch of softness to your ornament.

May the glow on the "snow-made" ornament warm your heart this Christmas season!
