In honor of the First Day of Spring, I spent some time at the library looking for the right words to tell more about night noises that arise when spring arrives. My first attempt at spine poetry last week was created with books from around the house, but at the library, there was so much more to choose from...I enjoyed looking for the right words to capture the mood of the night noises. Here is my latest poem:
HUSH!
By the Light of the Moon
WHILE the WORLD is SLEEPING
At the Edge of the Woods
CLOSE YOUR EYES
Listening and Hearing
CREATURES OF THE NIGHT
To all the lovely librarians out there, you'll be happy to know that I took time to reshelve the books-all back in the right place. Happy Spring to all!
A perfect bedtime story poem!
